PS. Somewhere towards the end of the said volume can be found the contemporary details of the burning of CORGAFF castle by Edom o Gordons men--not TOWIE as given in later more modern details of the ballad of EoG. Two named men were hung at the cross of Stirling,shortly after the dreadfull events portrayed in the ballad of EoG., their crime, composing ballads liable to sow dissension among noblemen.
