On a trek in the uplands one day we discovered that larks hover by singing and farting at the same time. Or maybe we made that up :-D On a more serious note (pun intended) in the summer there are always some up on the ridge above our village between Lund's tower and Cowling pinnacle. We used to hear loads on Kinder when we used to bog trot over there regularly but not been up there for a while so I don't know if it is still the same. DtG
