Lots of versions, Joe, including broadsides. I think there is an early broadside at EBBA (Santa Barbra) in the Roxburghe Collection. Hugill has it. It was printed in the American Forget-me-not Songster. Many of the American collections have it. I have 40 separate entries but some of these are probably duplicates. Simpson refers to it at p673. There is a study in Journal of the EFDSS no 41 p169. The standard broadside has 25 verses. |
