This is sad news. Back in the day our next door neighbour used to drive him to various gigs and I used to tag along. Great days! He was booked many times at our folk club and he leaves behind many memories. I must admit he was a bit of a Marmite performer. Some really loved him and others found him a bit startling! However with his work with "Sweet Folk All" and his blog he added immensely to the folk world. Rest in peace Joe.
