Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to tar all dog owners with the same brush Backwoodsman. And you sound like perfect owners. It's just one sees such sad cases on Paul O'Grady's programme ('For The Love Of Dogs', about Battersea dogs' home in London) Some people see dogs (especially puppies) as some sort of animated toy, then get bored with them and neglect them, or even abandon them when the novelty wears off. Makes my heart ache.
