It's fifty yards of very gentle sloping drain from our house to the septic tank. A gallon or two of boiling water laced with a whole bag of washing soda once a month degreases the pipe and doesn't hurt the good bugs in the tank. Incidentally, we haven't had to get the tank emptied in thirty years. No wet wipes, no biological detergent, no bleach. Easy! Vote anti-Tory, get the bad bugs out of Downing Street and make the Earth great again.
