Well, there was no need to brave the weather - just one brief hailstorm. But what else could've kept folks away?? Once again it was a small but loyal turnout (but serious thanks to all, especially Nick who'd travelled across from deepest Lancashire to be with us). We shared half a dozen songs apiece, ranging from originals to good old Trad and Anon and Scottish Gaelic, Keith Marsden, Bob Dylan, John Prine, Peggy Seeger, the Byrds, Tom Waits, Jake Thackray, Eric Bogle, James Taylor, Stuart Marson, Dave Moss, Franz Schubert ... and even Johnny Preston! And there was still plenty of time for all the craic, info, chat and banter in between... Next session will be on 30th May - let's hope some absentees will be able to return then! Cheers!
