Thanks for all the contributions so far. If my memory serves me right the tune comes from an album of immigrant Ukrainian folk musicians recorded in the USA in the first quarter of the 20th Century. They were possibly Library of Congress recordings. I remember exuberance, fun and quirky timing. Does this help?
