300 Weatherby mag??? Jaysus Hatch, man! That's your 'smaller gun'? My big gun is a 'custom' 270 WIN/REM made in Germany 60 years ago. Yeah, a WIN/REM for ammo... seriously. It will now take WIN or REM and possibly others. Great story. My old man took it with when we went to Ottawa on vacation many years ago. BIG gun dealer shop. Says to the gunsmith that he can't find ammo in Moncton. Smithy takes it out back, comes back in five minutes and says, "It'll take WIN or Rem or WIN/REM now. $6." Dad says, "Only five minutes and $6? What did you do?" "Oh... that will cost you $60."
