As a scientist, you should have learned that it is not enough to dismiss and accepted belief - you need to replace it with something that fills the gap you have removed
You tend not to do this when it comes to politics - you rely far to much on dismissive rhetoric with a sprinkle of pomposity added to disguise the blandness of your statements, (and a tendency to talk down to people so the meal actually looks good)
Might work i the lab....... not in this kitchen, I'm afraid.
Maybe you should try Ache's 'first name' technique of addressing the subjects as if you actually knew them - that might give your denials a bit more authority
