I used to volunteer with a local internet provider here in SW Florida fixing connectivity problems for customers both on the phone and in person and saw first hand how much FB brightens the lives of elderly people. They get to easily communicate with their children and grandchildren and old friends up north. It greatly alleviates the isolation that many seniors deal with in their declining years. As for the bad stuff I'm aware of it but haven't experienced it as I have an account but hardly ever log in.
