I saw predictions. I gave them the same credence that I give to opinion polls. i.e. not a lot. I don't believe anyone was predicting that Labour would lose all its seats, or even enough that the number would be reduced sufficiently that they would be 'nowhere'. Saying he has 'come from nowhere' seems just an attempt to make where he is now (with his party in second place) look more spectacular.
