Labour percentage vote this year (2017) 40.2% (1997)43.2% (2001)40.7% 2001 to 2017 is not 20 years. Also number of seats won is less than in 2001 or 2005. Number of votes may have gone up, but not as a percentage of the total votes cast. (compared with 1997 & 2001) Care to try again?
