I am sure the OPer has seen Narrowboat thread - I added a few links otherwise try Mr Red's map page - starts with Frampton on the Gloucester Sharpness canal Folk in Frampton Village Hall every Tues, 3 Horseshoes in Frampton several nights, Wed alternates with the Red Lion in Arlingham (a fair walk) which is the one venue that my map software lists at the wrong distance from Frampton (there is a limit to how much approximation of estuary and river one amateur geek can encompass) FWIW Frampton has the longest village green in England, and the cricket match thereon has a weird scoring. 6 if you get it over the road, 4 if it only hits the road. Not sure how many for skimming into the road.
