They might have been young, but they're no less privileged white old folk who've not changed the world for the better, and are still making it worse. The rise of nationalism, the politics of division, the gross inequality that pervades our societies, climate change, the application of capitalist principles to healthcare and education, the decline of multiculturalism etc etc are all at least partly the result of privileged white folk pursuing their own self-interest with staggeringly myopic ignorance. There is hope, but not with the older generations. Get out of the way.
