Many of us are familiar with the work of Gershon Legman (1917-1999), literary and social critic of bawdy tales and folklore. Turns out that his widow, Judith, has been editing his humungous autobiography, which now runs to four humungous volumes, with more to come. Legman was also compiling a (need I say humungous?) anthology and analysis of bawdy songs since the Middle Ages. One hopes that Judith can get that done too.
