While finishing some college after a hitch in the navy, I, for some
forgotten reason, ordered a little module to attach to a mike and transmit to a radio. It only claimed to reach 50 feet or so, but, as it turned out, when jacked up to my reel-to-reel, it reached around campus. So, I became a miniature underground radio station for a little while. I think I put on "Vikki Dougan" more than any other number.
