My Grandfather told me he saw this guy perform in Falkirk Scotland in the late 1800s perhaps early 1900s.....he induced a man with a withered arm to lift heavy weights the man nearly died, the crowd rioted, and Bodie was run out of town. Dr Walford Bodie. Around that time, my grandfather was also taken by his parents to see Buffalo Bill Cody's Wild West Show which also visited Falkirk Tryst.
