Re: standards, in the 2007 movie Blue State a man is driving to Canada and advertises for someone to share the ride. When it comes time for the rider to drive they say they can't drive a stick. The driver says, 'didn't you read the ad? I said the car had a standard transmission. The '54 thousand $ question would be then, what's 'standard'?
