hi, Ah, I'm a huge GP fan . . . never saw him live though; was still in th crib when he died, unfortunately :). But i love how he blended roots & singer/songwriter & "covers" without giving a hoot, and stayed with the heart of the music -- playing for love & fun -- as your anecdode illustrates. Fortunately people like that still exist, at least in my world! Erica
