On Oscar Brand's WNYC radio show sometime in the late '60s I heard the complete version of which Deckman posted the chorus in 2010. ("I don't know where my poor old Jesse's gone.") I'm pretty sure it was sung by Paul Clayton. Years later, I read somewhere that Clayton had written or adapted it. The words and tune were pretty close to the standard, however. I can't find any available recording, or the complete text on line.
