Hi folks, I thought you might be interested in hearing about a folk festival which my friends and I started in 2016.

Kimpton Folk Festival is one of the UK's newest folk festivals, set in the rural Hertfordshire village of Kimpton. It's just one day at this stage, but with a lot going on all around the village. We have music on 3 stages and we've featured some of the UK's most exciting acts including Kerr/Fagan, Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys, Urban Folk Quartet.

This year - Saturday July 6 - we have Megson, Mishaped Pearls, Edgelarks, Gilmore/Roberts, Odette Michell, Alden, Patterson & Dashwood, Melrose Quartet, Arrowsmiths, Nancy Kerr & James Fagan. Plus Tappalachian, English Miscellany and Young Miscellany dance groups, all-day sessions and 2 open mic concerts in the pub.

We've also got free workshops in singing, ukulele and French folk dance plus a free stage on the village green with a big range of street food and real ales from Farr Brew.

This year, for the first time, we are offering Super Early Bird afternoon tickets at just £10 - which gets you into everything except the 2 evening concerts. This is incredible value. To book tickets or find out more, check the Kimpton Folk website.: www.kimptonfolk.uk
