There are some wonderful comedy songs that don't get boring. Yip Harburg's "Lydia the Tattooed Lady" for example. Tom Lehrer's songs for another.W.S.Gilbert's lyrics are not boring for example, "The Nightmare Song" from Iolanthe.
It depends on what's called a comedy song. For example, "Johnny I Hardly Knew Ya'" was originally intended as a humorous song. "Finnegan's Wake" is sung a great deal.
