Dean and I went to the memorial, but were unable to stay for the sing, as we had a 7+ hour drive home facing us, and we had to be home for Monday morning. Rose did a lovely job leading the service, and the music was, of course, moving and well-chosen. As all of you know, there is a special bond experienced between people singing in a group, and three hundred voices raised in the common bond of love and loss and remembrance was a fitting tribute to our dear friend Caroline . I also must say that Kathy Westra spoke most eloquently about Caroline, and about the enormous influence both Caroline and Sandy had on her life, as they had on so many of us.I am certain that I was not the only one to shed a tear....
