To answer a couple of questions posted by folks: openmike is on the west coast, USA. Her octave mandolin was from Mudcat's Kendall Morse- a beauty made by Nick/Nikos Apollonio in Rockport, Maine. I've let her know there are some helpful replies to her post. Please keep in mind things are still tough for the many fire survivors in that part of the country (and this is the second full fire loss she has survived), so it may take a few days for her to get back to MC to respond.
