Nynia,
I'm sorry if you're offended by the thread. The question was asked out of curiosity more than anything else.
As for hearing "Celtic scum support" chanting Pro IRA chants at the match, this does not include all Celtic supporters, but alas there remains that small minority of F**kin' Arseholes that give the honest supporter the bad name.
As for myself, being the product of an Irish Catholic father and a Scottish Protestant mother, I was brought up to respect people regardless of Race, Creed or Colour. It is something that has been instilled in me and I hope that I become successful in passing this down to MY children.
In place now, and for the past few 5 yrs thanks to "Fergus the bunnet" bigotry is being stamped out at CP. Take a look at the songs and poems that have been listed by Lyric, How many of these are bigoted. The fourth and fifth entries should should be interesting to read!
I disagree with neither Celtic or Rangers having nothing to do with Football or Religion. Religion will always be a factor because of how the clubs were founded, Brother Walfred et al. As for the football, well then again, the Teddy Bears haven't played much this season!
mvh Tony

Thanks Joe, much obliged.
TC
