Hi Anne, I am very curious about some of the things you said in your post regarding life span, travel etc in the middle ages. Also, I have never seen any cited reference to the "nobilty" sleeping sitting up because it was safer. Also, all references I can find suggest that people were shorter and had a much shorter life span that we do . Could you point me in the direction of sources for this, I find it intriguing. Thank you in advance.
