OMG I just happened to mention, in another thread about wanting to hear Bluegrass music in London, later this month,that the last time I did so was in C 2000, in a North city pub, played by Pete Stanley. I'd heard him quite often on BBC Radio programmes and looked up his possible gig venues before I visited back then. It was quite a small pub and I got to chat briefly with him about Banjo playing. Cannot rem now who the guitar player was who accompanied him and sang. Rest in Peace Pete, your music was sublime.
