As for what is being reported in the media this is what one poster who describes herself as "a proud and hopeful Syrian - now and always" has to say about that: "Not saying a decent amount of Iranians arent upset about Soleimani. State propaganda can do that. But it seems lot of people dont know how this stuff works in totalitarian states. When Hafez Assad died his goons went into homes & basically threw you out in the street to mourn him."
