Thanks for the correction Derek, I should have read it over more carefully before I posted. Still asleep obviously.

And Lomax was right of course. People like Mike Yates were still recording them in the eighties.

Earlier this morning I was listening to a recording made at a family party by two sisters, siblings of Steve Ledford in the 1960's, beautiful stuff.
