I'm intrigued by the proliferation of home videos on YouTube, Facebook, etc. with multiple participants singing or playing together from their homes - everything from a single musician singing 4 parts with herself/himself to a full symphony orchestras.

As there are increasing calls more or less demonizing choral singing and music making for spreading Covid 19 (a discussion for another thread?) can anyone tell me of their experiences with software required for these music sharing videos? I'm not an Apple-product user so I'm particularly interested in software for Windows and/or Android, but other 'Catters might well be interested in i-candy.

I do understand that it isn't as easy as it looks and the finished product requires editing but I can certainly cope with a certain level of that.

I seem to remember hearing that Zoom isn't a good resource, but I think that was referencing its use as a congregational singing resource in live-streamed church services.

I imagine I've put this badly, but I hope you get the drift and can give me the benefit of your wisdom.
