I am heartbroken to hear this news. I didn’t know Micca well but I have delighted in his music and humor and sweet soul for over 19 years here at Mudcat as well as some chances I had to meet him and share music with him at Getaway and recently via Facebook. I was looking forward, now that our pandemic-induced social distancing has necessitated and then enabled “virtual” song circles, to inviting Micca to join us out here on the left Coast and sing for us out here. Micca, your soul and music were and will remain a treasure.
