2 Bright midday sun shines o'er Olympics' wild coastline
Sun, sand and sea-stacks gleam in its light
Sea otters sleep in shimmering kelp beds
Coast hikers marvel, "What a glorious sight!"

3 Shadows of evening o'er the Hoh River Valley
Murmuring river lulls us to sleep
Forest of Giants, Spruce, Fir and Cedar
Guard us till morning, Oh thy vigil keep
