This touches on lots of interesting connected topics as well, very much appreciated. Man, I am deeply grateful to Alan. I discovered him when I saw the 'Sounds of the South' set on the wall of a record store, read the box, and bought it out of pure curiosity. I had no idea what I was getting into, but it was legit "life changing". That set and 'Anthology of American Folk Music' are the only physical musics I still have.
