So, we wrote a parody of Lisa Null's wonderful "I'm Going Home to Georgia" yesterday when we learned that Joe Biden was projected to win the state of Georgia. We sang it for Lisa tonight, and she approves. It's our second topical election song; the first "Hold the Recount Now," was an election chantey written in 1980 on our way to the NOMAD festival in Connecticut in the midst of the Bush v. Gore election mess. This one still has some life in it until the January 5 Georgia runoff, which holds the possibility of two Senate seats. Here you go. Feel free to sing and share.

My body’s revived, my good spirits returned
They’re calling the race in Georgia
My heart is rejoicing at the news I just learned
Joe Biden has won in Georgia.

Democracy weathered the stress.
By the liar-in-chief it was put to the test,
