I've lost the full lyrics to a Hans Poulson Song that has been eluding me for some time. I don't know the song title and Lord Google has not helped in the search. Some of it goes something like this. I’m standing by the gate of your crystal captured dream And you talk to me of lovin never knowing how to say That the hope of love and fortune simply carried you away. Ah but your silence says it for you and I’ll soon be on my way. And as you see me leaving don’t pretend your feeling pain. And thought I know this kind of lovin I won’t have again Remember that there’s nothing special that we owe, But the words to say it’s over and the wisdom to know. Can anyone help? Poulsen incidentally is/was a singer songwriter from Western Australia with a few records to his credit. Some of his work has a similar feel to Gordon Lightfoot (IMHO).
