Hi Helen, you're right, it's the OS Serial No. for that particular instrument. That's why I couldn't beleive OS couldn't ID it for the model.

Hi Harpy, I was guessing the 70s, perhaps a B type OS, one article said maybe an E-15? Still nothing about the no hole style or anything about it. A test style maybe?
