Can't we go back to having just new moons, full moons, harvest moons and blue moons? I'm tired of all these new-fangled moon names, supposedly 'traditional Native American' but now something to do with farmers, apparently. And for that matter, all the special 'days' and 'weeks' and 'months' that are constantly foisted on us? In the last few weeks I have been told to celebrate 'world gin day, 'world chardonnay day' and 'international rosé day' along with 'fathers (or is it fathers' or father's) day'. And all the other 'worthy causes'.
