Gnu, I feel pretty much the same way ~~ EVERYONE should know Natalie MacMaster and her music. But then with increasing frequency, musicians are mentioned here that I haven't the slightest idea who they are. Yet the threads devoted to them are filled with comments from people who are obviously knowledgeable fans. It is just a matter of what you are interested in, I suppose. I may know who Nat is and traveled hours to see her, have a ton of Chris LeDoux and Clancy Brothers recordings, listened virtually all my life to Lonnie Glosson, thrilled to the sounds of Washington Phillips, not to mention any number of local musicians, but it doesn't follow that everyone else has taken that same path. But for those of you who don't know her, click on the link. You may become a fan, too.
