Stan Gee did sing a song about The Wizard of Alderley it was his own song and it started 'Who is he' The chorus 'He's the Wizard, the Wizard. the wizard of Alderley. It was a great song. He often sang it with the folk group Bullock Smithy. I have been searching for the lyrics but to no avail and Bullock Smithy as far as I know did. very little recording, From my memory it did not mention the edge and as soon as you put the edge in the title you get Pete Coe's song.
