Yes Vic- it was when you stayed in our holiday house in Durrus, about 1995- we'd prepared our own local guide to the area & had recognised some similarities between the two! Another point was that we were all in favour of visitors supporting local crafts, but if you did this by buying a bodhran, to please take it back with you & practice in the privacy of your own home, rather than at the local session.
