Hello mudcatters, To lighten the end of January, my least favourite month of the year, I'm planning to hold a (not-at-all-sad, ahem) one person Burns Night. I've got the whiskey, I've got the playlist, I'm strongly considering cranachan, and I know I'd appreciate a really good Burns documentary to wash the whiskey down with. Does anyone have any recommendations? Something that digs pretty deep would be welcome, whether in literary terms, or through looking at the political and social context. I'm not a Burns scholar, but I've read the MacIntyre biography, and have been listening to the songs since I was very young.
