I am sorry to announce the passing of my longtime friend and singing partner Tony Barrand, who died peacefully this morning surrounded by his family. Many who knew him know of his long fight with MS. In the end, it was a systemic infection following an outpatient surgical procedure.

Tony was a singer, morris dancer, clog dancer, scholar, entertainer, the list goes on. Always remembered wherever he went.

Ian Robb, bless his heart, said that it was hearing us sing that showed him there might be a future in singing English folk songs in North America.
