As far as I understand it, the fishermen were warned agains going out there by the Irish Government.
They then went to the Russian Embassy and the outcome was that the Russians moved their wargames well away from the prized fishing grounds, thus demonstrating just what a lot of imbeciles inhabit Leinster House.

To keep this a musical thread, could I remind you of Joe Heaney's wonderful song 'Morrissey and the Russian sailor', another instance of the Irish getting the better of the Russians....
