Re. Guest Diolch's post. I would never shout "Judas" to anyone. In fact, I find it refreshing to hear all kinds of gendres at the - maybe I should say 'acoustic' rather than 'folk' - sessions that I attend. (FWIW, I also play and listen to 'electronic' stuff so I wasn't having a dig. Apologies if that's how it came across). Delighted to hear your local session was blessed with such a wide range of ages and cultures. That's encouraging news. Re. DtG post. Like you, I hope this doesn't degenerate into another "What is Folk Music". My question is/was basically, where are all the under 50 folkies, especially in my neck of the woods?
