I drink a lot of whole milk. (I wouldn't be seen dead drinking skimmed or even semi-skimmed milk!). I also drink a lot of Tropicana orange juice-with-bits. In total, I have about four pints of fluid per day. I have a huge mug of tea first thing (so that's water from the tap!). I reckon my kidneys are in perfectly good order (my last blood test confirmed this) and my bones are strong because of all the calcium in the milk. My skin glows (vitamin C in the orange juice and vitamin D from the sunshine on The Bench) My only sin is that the milk comes in plastic bottles. This village used to have a milkman ('Milk-And-More') who brought it in glass bottles, just like during the 1950s, but about three years ago he stopped his rounds. I was rather cross to read about those activists who poured milk all over the floor in various supermarkets, but I think they were against dairy-farming not the plastic.
