I have just been made aware of the passing of Don Sineti, well known as a singer of shanties especially associated with Mystic Seaport Village. A shantyman much beloved by audiences, crew and other singers alike. He died on January 5, 2023 at the age of 79, and is greatly missed. He had a wide repertoire of tradition shanties and was a captivating singer and story teller. My condolences go to all those who love and miss him. I have added his name to the "In Memoriam" thread.
