Seems like the correct chords should be:


  G     C/G      G            D7        G
  Silly words of poetry, photographs in rhyme.

  Words that have a simple sound, meanings of their own.

Only the intro and bridge have the G-C-D-G progression. Also there is a G-D-C-G-D7-G in the bridge part.

I have to confess that I didn't pay enough attention when I posted the wrong chords years ago.
