Well, May was chilly here in the north west. The average minimum temperature for May was 2.4 deg C (the F folk will have to work the conversion out), making it the coldest May for over 100 years. Can be read about here. It was also one of the dryest, only 0.2 mm over the whole month, equaling a record which has stood since 1998. Not a record we wish to break.
