The problem I'm having is that I want to edit an interview, a wav file imported to audacity via usb baton. It's playing back fine, but the audio is only coming through on my laptop's own speaker and the volume is far too low for me. I have headphones plugged into the computer, but the sound isn't transfering to the speaker jack. I've tried listening to an mp3 music recording saved on the computer, and to a youtube video, and they are both coming through the headphones at good volume. So how do I get Audacity to play on the headphones? computer has Windows 10 and Realtek Audio Console I downloaded a free version of Audacity just a few weeks ago.
